A multimedia dance theater from the life and work of a great writer and journalist who was born and raised in Košice. The authors of the production were inspired by the memories of old Sándor Márai in San Diego about his childhood in Košice, his relationship with his parents, bourgeoisie and his love of literature. Encounter with death, the struggle for justice and independence of thought. Sándor was an opponent of all totalitarian regimes and violence. Until recently, Europe basically did not know Márai, because he forbade the publication of his works in communist countries until the last Russian soldier left their territories. The paradox is that just before his demand became a reality, he committed suicide in early 1989.

The production is dominated by a non-traditional stage, where the audience becomes part of the stage and the artist part of the audience. A special feature of the ballet performance will also be a non-traditional element - the performance of Sándor Márai not only in dance (M. Sklyar, A. Sukhanov, S. Iegorov) but also in acting (Peter Cibula).
