Husband and wife Michal and Viera invite their quiet and unassuming friend Fridrich over for a visit to show off their home, parading everything they have managed to acquire and buy, and the things they have surrounded themselves with. They demonstrate to him how they live, while simultaneously pointing out how wrongly he has chosen to live himself by distancing himself from mainstream society and refusing to conform. This confrontation gives rise to no small number of grotesque and even absurd moments and situations.
