Each city has its own history and its white spaces. Arnošt Goldflam prepared a Slovak adaptation of his play At the Hitlers (from Hitler's kitchen) especially for Košice, in which some white spots may become too black. At the Hitlers is a fiction that returns to the theme of the Second World War with grotesque humor. In the contemporary play by Czech playwright Arnošt Godflam, serious themes and references to the horrors of the Second World War are intertwined with intimate stories and reflections on the state of the world in the kitchen of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun. It will be the Slovak premiere of this play. Plays about how history is cooked ... Or why the Hitler family fails to have a child, what happens in the camps, what is the recipe for a good cake, or why there are “so many synagogues and so few Jews” in Košice. With the production, we want to commemorate the scariest events in the history of the 20th century. Events that need to be talked about all the time. However, the form we will look at the world from 60 years ago is full of irony, cynical humor and satire. Because laughter is the only remedy that heals.

"I tell you that humor will survive everything, even history itself. Humor is an absolute value, without time and space. "
