Original production Extáza / Obrazy o nej (Ecstasy / Pictures on Her) portrays different images of women inspired by the phases of the moon as a magic gate to birth and rebirth. The piece brings the topic of femininity and feminine body in various conventional and unconventional roles. The images of ecstatic force, love, self-sacrifice, unimaginable pain of loss, and resilience dominate the stage. The piece presents feminine determination to carry the torch all the time, have no fear of darkness which often uncovers reality. Ecstasy is both euphoria and deep internalisation, both chaos and ultimate peace, the moment of conception and rapture, the feelings that life and death bring.

The original contemporary dance production Extáza /Obrazy o nej draws the theme of feminine physique and its magic transformations. The show presents on stage line crossing, altered state of consciousness, loss of control, euphoria, state of bliss... Ecstatic moments of joy we long for, even at personal cost. Ecstasy is an image of a woman by means of four archetypes – the four phases of the moon.
