Two exceptional concerts are being prepared by the Opera of State Theatre Košice for the last Advent Sunday on 18th December.
A rich program will be opened in the afternoon at 16:00 by ADVENT CONCERT OF PETER VALENTOVIČ AND HIS FRIENDS. The well-known and most popular songs full of passion and Italian temperament will be performed by the chief conductor of opera and excellent pianist Peter Valentovič, a popular local tenor Jaroslav Dvorský, a guest baritone Ludovík Kendi and a concert master of opera orchestra of the State Theatre Košice, Peter Michalík.
The last Advent Sunday will culminate in the evening at 19:00 with a CHRISTMAS CONCERT. A traditional, unforgettable and spectacular Advent Gala Concert will be full of wonderful atmosphere and unforgettable melodies, the world hits performed by our opera artists and guests. Home opera soloists and orchestra will perform under the baton of opera conductor Igor Dohovič, the Boys´ Choir of the Mukachevo Choir School from Ukraine with choir´s artistic director and conductor Volodymyr Volontyr will be guests of the concert.
