„I am myself indifferent honest; but yet I could accuse me of such things that it were better my mother had not borne me. I am very proud, revengeful, ambitious, with more offences at my beck than I have thoughts to put them in, imagination to give them shape, or time to act them in. What should such fellows as I do crawling between earth and heaven? We are arrant knaves, all; believe none of us.“ (Hamlet)
Hamlet – a modern interpretation of William Shakespeare’s renowned dramatic masterpiece.
The creators set the story of the Danish prince in the near future, offering the audience a vision of a modern-day Middle Ages. Denmark is torn by the constant threat of war, and the struggle for power is tearing the nation apart from within.
Please note: The performance contains smoking on stage and strong language. Suitable for audiences aged 15 and over.
